DELIVERY

BabyGear is dedicated to offering the highest levels of quality and a personal service to all our customers.  

UK mainland standard delivery (Free above £75, £3.50 below £75)

  • We aim to dispatch in stock items within 1 working day from order and aim for delivery to you within 3 working days from the day you place your order. 
  • Any items that are currently not in stock will be ordered direct from the manufacturer same day and we aim to deliver within 7 working days. You will be advised by email or phone on when to expect your delivery.

UK mainland Express delivery (£3.50 above £75, £6 below £75)

  • We aim to dispatch in stock items from in store on the same day (if your order is before 2pm) and aim for delivery next day (up to 6pm)
  • Any items that are currently not in stock will be ordered direct from the manufacturer same day and we will aim to deliver within 5 working days. You will be advised by email or phone on when to expect delivery.

Every order is processed in our store and you will receive a personal e-mail detailing your order confirmation and a specific delivery day from a member of our team. 

 

There may be some products that are directly delivered from the manufacturers, which will be clearly marked on the product description. . 

 

The goods you order will be delivered between 9am-5pm only to the address which you provide when you place your order. Shop sent deliveries will be made by Initial City Link, our carriage partners, however other delivery companies may be used for direct manufacturer drop. An email is sent at point of dispatch confirming the consignment tracking number. You can track your order here www.city-link.co.uk. Delivery times are between 9am-6pm Monday to Friday. 

 

If you provide us with a wrong delivery address and your goods are signed for by another party, BabyGear cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result. 

 

You must inform us in writing of any shortages/damages to items received within 24 hours of receiving the goods. Please be aware that we will check all boxes before we send them out, once you have signed for the package you are stating that the box is not damaged and you have taken receipt of the items. 

All deliveries must be signed for. Our carriage partners will make 2 attempts to deliver your order. . If there is no one at the address given to accept delivery of the goods you will be carded requesting contact is made with the depot holding your goods to arrange an alternative delivery date or to collect goods from the depot. A third delivery attempt will come at a charge of £3.50. If no contact is made with the depot, goods are automatically returned back to us and we will charge £18.00 for re-delivery. If at this point you refuse delivery or wish to cancel your order £18.00 will be deducted from the refund due. 


No delivery will take place unless payment for the goods has been received. Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. Any delivery date or time specified by us is an estimate only and we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. Under the distance selling regulations set by the OFT we will aim to deliver the goods within 30 days.

Ownership of the goods and the risk for damage to the goods pass to you upon delivery. We shall repair or replace free of charge any goods damaged in transit where delivery has been made by our carrier provided that you give us written notification of such damage within 24 hours of the delivery date. Goods are independently inspected before a exchange/refund can be offered this procedure can take up to 20 days.

We cannot accept liability for any delays in delivery that are beyond our control. We will not be liable to you by way of representation for any losses which are not reasonably foreseeable by both parties when the contract is formed arising in connection with the supply of goods and related services or their use by you.
